THE PHYSICAL BLESSINGS

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Isaiah 53:4,5 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Dear Saints,
The most obvious physical blessing is healing. Our God is a healing God but most importantly, He would rather we live in divine health than have to be healed. Sickness is not your portion but just in case you are attacked by the enemy and afflicted, our Father comes right in between. He has declared “wholesome” health. Consider the above scriptures: In Isaiah 53…….”by His stripes YOU ARE healed.” 1 Peter 2:24……by His stripes YOU WERE healed.
Are you sick in the body? Yes even right now. Isaiah says, YOU ARE HEALED, Peter said, “YOU WERE” healed. Now whose report will you believe? Unfortunately many people do not believe this. Instead they give excuses as to why they are sick. You would hear statements like “God is teaching me something,” “If it’s God’s will then he will heal me,” As long as one thinks
God is contributing to their predicament, then there would be no resistance whatsoever. Many Christians are content and don’t want to “antagonize” anyone, including the devil (lower case on purpose). No, YOU ARE, YOU WERE……You should be healed. Healing is “children’s bread,” its your right.

27But Jesus said unto her, let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. This story is about the woman who came to Jesus requesting the healing of her daughter. She was not a covenant woman and this is why in verse 27 Jesus answered the way He did. Any honest person can see that before anyone else is healed, the “children” ought to be healed first. Why should God put such a high value on some people, and not others? THE BLESSING conferred upon a man or woman of covenant……It’s powerful! This truth is eternal. We are blessed forever. Now you can receive this truth or look for scriptures that negate any and all statements in regard to healing.
The truth remains, by HIS STRIPES YOU ARE HEALED……AND BY HIS STRIPES YOU WERE HEALED. Let’s explore further in these lines in the SPREADING THE LIGHT BULLETIN NEXT WEEK.
