THE SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS

EPHESIANS 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Dear Saints,
Last week we talked about our spiritual blessing. As we said earlier, this blessing is not reversible and it is eternal. It is important to mention at this point that the blessing is a gift of God to us. We did not work, or qualify for it. Since we did not get it by works, we cannot lose it by works either.
Part of our spiritual blessing is our eternal redemption, eternal life Eternal salvation and so forth. All these blessings are ours and they begin in this life.
EPHESIANS 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
1 Timothy 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
Hebrews 9:12 He did not enter by the blood of goats and calves, but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, thus securing eternal redemption.
He (Jesus) secured our eternal redemption by entering into the Holy Place once. The single entry is significant in that never again will anyone present the blood of any animal for the redemption and forgiveness of sins. Notice He did not enter by the blood of goats and calves as it was true in the Old Testament.
Leviticus 6:7 And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein
The atonement was done continually for the sins of the people and once a year for all the people. But Jesus entered with His own blood ONCE AND FOR ALL. All sins were forgiven…..He will never again present any blood for sins. This is great. You are redeemed forever.
