THE BLESSING
THE SOUL BLESSINGS.

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
EPHESIANS 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Dear Saints,
I am so excited about “the blessing”. God has been revealing to me some wonderful things about the blessing. Please keep in mind that this blessing was passed on to us as “the seed” of Abraham……amazing.
Gal. 3:29 KJV
And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
New Living Translation…says:
And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you. This is powerful.
In the last presentation we covered the spiritual blessing. We now want to talk about the “soul blessing”. This type of blessing depends on you, you choose. Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance…….
The soul blessing has a lot to do with your own decision making processes. Since it has to do with: THE MIND, THE EMOTIONS, AND THE WILL. These blessings are under your control. THEY ARE YOUR CHOICE, THEY WILL BLESS YOU OR HURT YOU. God has blessed us with love, .. So we can “turn the other chick.” (Forgive). When you can turn the other chick……you will take NO VENGEANCE, YOU ARE BLESSED WITH LOVE…….YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO DO IT.
If you can believe this, then you will not allow discouragement or depression upon you. You will not look on the outward things that cause discouragement but you will look on the inside and see what Christ has done, what the love of God has done for you. Control your thinking because it can cause discouragement, or depression. We will go through these individual blessings as in Galatians 5:22, so we can have a clear picture of the blessings, and understand the character of God Himself since He cannot tell us to be what He is not, or bless us with what He doesn’t have. Let us start with what God actually is;
LOVE.
As a part of His blessing to us, He wants us to walk in love and this, not Circumstantial, superficial love but the love of God Himself…..which says; “I love you in spite of your faults and failure”. It takes God to love this way. The good news is that we can do it….why? It’s a blessing, and it’s HIS LOVE.
Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
