THE BLESSING
Eph 1:3
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms.
Numbers 23:19-20Behold, I received a command to bless: he has blessed, and I cannot revoke it.
Dear Saints,
You are blessed…..YES YOU ARE. This blessing is ire-reversible because it is not a material blessing, it is a declaration, a pronouncement from the mouth of God. The pronouncements are turned into the physical materials that we need. Everything we see, were created by the things we do not see. Once the words have gone out, whether positive or negative, the work is done. Those words, after “spitting” them out cannot be retrieved, the intent and objective is accomplished. Words are powerful. Consider,
PROVERBS. 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue…….”
When God speaks, His word becomes the law. He can never go against His word.
Psalm 89:34
I will not violate my covenant or alter the word that went forth from my lips.
There are two things God will not do, one He will not violate His word, and two He will not ALTER what comes out of His mouth. We can live on what He says because He can never lie.
Numbers 23:19
God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
The blessing comes as a result of favor. No good deeds qualifies one for favor. It’s all about God’s love. Even in human blessings, there is the element of favor and the blessing cannot be cancelled. David loved Esau but through deception he blessed Jacob and it was so. Genesis 27
As you can see, the blessing is forever. Only you can stop it. People stop the blessings of God by not believing, speaking against the blessing, and by self-cursing.
