Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Dear Saints,
Greetings in Jesus’ Name. I hope you are all doing fine. I thank God for every thought of you, remembering your zeal for God and your love for His people. May you be rewarded beyond your expectations and measure.
I want to begin a new series on the subject of purpose. Many people live and die, not knowing their purpose. It is important in this regard to find out why this is true, and what we can do about it. In order to do this, we must establish two facts: one, God created everything; two, everything God created had a purpose. From Genesis chapter one, we see God creating everything that He needed. He took six days to create everything you see. When it came to man, He made him in His own image and likeness. The purpose of a product is better known by the manufacturer. God who made you and me knows you well.
Our theme scripture describes very well His knowledge of you.
Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
God does not only know you but He participated, and took part in every stage of your formation. The word “formed” is the Hebrew word yatsa Which means: …..”squeezing into shape; to mould into a form; especially as a potter.” By now it should be clear that God is your “manufacturer”.
