Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Dear Saints,
Happy new year to you, all our family. May you prosper in everything you do. This week we continue with our series on planning and last week we saw that although God has a plan for you, to prosper you, and give you what you expect, He will not plan for you. You do the planning but according to His word, and then expect what you have planned to succeed. Why is this true?
Proverbs 16:9
A man’s heart deviseth his way:
but the Lord directeth his steps.
The word devise means to plan. So the word says, man plans, The Lord carries it out, or makes it happen. So, if there is no plan, The Lord will not make anything happen no matter how much you pray and even fast.
Every area of our lives need planning. Have an objective, then plan how to get there. The beauty of it all is that, it’s God’s responsibility to see that the plan is done regardless of the cost. Besides planning, you must expect. Many Christians live their lives without expecting anything. God says, He will give you an expected end. You and l need to be expecting something everyday.
