John 10:27-29
- My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
Dear Saints,
I trust that you are enjoying the peace of God that passes all understanding.
We continue this week with the subject of salvation. This is the foundation of all Godliness, and eternal life. It is the area that the devil works on so hard to convince you that you are not saved.
And if you have made mistakes, he tells you, that you have lost your salvation, you might as well stay away from the church. After all, they are all a bunch of hypocrites. Oh! yeah?…..liar.
look at Jesus’ promise in John 10:27–31.
Jesus seals it with the identity of the Father and of the Son. There is nothing in the universe that can take away the eternal life that Christ has given you. These words are absolute. If you listen to the voice of Jesus and follow Him, you have eternal life, and you will never live in a Christ-less eternity.
The great people of the Bible all went through dark and difficult times. Elijah, Isaiah, and John the Baptist all felt in different ways that their connection with God was gone, that they had been abandoned, and that they were failures. No, God’s grace is sufficient. He will “NEVER leave you”…..no one can PLUCK you out of His hand…..
Child of God do not allow the devil to lie to you…..
