Your Assurance of salvation 3
- My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
Greetings in Jesus’ Name. I believe you have been blessed by our series on salvation. I trust that by the end of this study, Satan will never lie to you again, that you are not saved, you are far from God and stuff like that. No, you are not far from Him. In fact, He is in you. How closer can He be?
We must break the connection in our minds between our feelings and our salvation. Our assurance depends on God’s incredible, generous gift alone. Do you believe that Jesus loves you just the same every day no matter your actions? You cannot make yourself worthy or unworthy of His love. Your salvation depends on God’s incredibly generous gift alone. His Son, who died for your salvation and that cannot be reversed.
There is nothing you and l did to deserve God’s love. There is nothing you can do to make Him hate you. That needs to be settled in your heart. He will always love you and will never let you go.
No one can pluck you out of His hands, He has given us eternal life, and none of His sheep can perish (see our theme scripture V. 28.).
