SPIRIT FILLED. Part 6
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Dear Saints,
I trust that you are all doing fine in the Lord. We have been talking about Spirit – Filled living. In order to understand the subject, we need to know whom the Holy Spirit is and what He does. We saw that He is our comforter, our teacher ( mostly through people), and one who reminds us of the things that our Lord Jesus taught.
My prayer for you is that you no longer continue to be babies in spiritual matters, ones you understand these functions of the Holy Spirit. The word comforter is the Greek word: Parakletos, which means; intercessor, consoler, and advocate. With this in mind, we can see why we cannot allow ourselves to be discouraged, and “so down.” Being such, disqualifies, and declares the Holy Spirit as un-able to comfort, intercede, and being your advocate. This is an insult to Him.
Living a Spirit-filled life, is living a life that recognizes the Holy Spirit under all circumstances. It is knowing that He is there for you, and believing that He is taking care of whatever you are going through. People do not know this, but the source of discouragement is selfishness, and self pity. The master mind of both of them is satan. he lies to you and gets you to accept that God will not, or cannot help you. When this happens, discouragement sets in.
Stand up like a man or woman of God against your enemy the devil. Make sure you get your SPREADING THE LIGHT BULLETIN next week. Remain blessed.
