BE STRONG, BE RESILIENT

Isaiah 54:2
Enlarge the place of thy tent,
and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations:
spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
Dear Saints,
God’s plan and intention for us is amazing. Because this, He encourages us to be strong and courageous for us to effectively enforce the victory He has won for us.
There is a bridge in San Francisco called the Golden Gate Bridge. This bridge can move up twenty feet in either direction at its center. All of its parts, including its concrete roadway, steel railings, and cross beams, are connected from one welded joint to another through the vast cable system to two great towers, then down to rock sound action beneath the Pacific Ocean.
There are some biblical truths we can learn from this magnificent engineering. 1. You must be strong. God is strong, and He wants you strong. So take everything the master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the devil throws your way. This is not just a simple thing that we try and walk away and forget it. This is life-or-death fight to the finish against the devil and all his angels. You are up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when its all over but the shouting you will still be on your feet. Eph. 6:10-15.
2. You must be resilient. The Golden Gate Bridge has survived a century of earthquakes because it was build to sway- but not too far away. Its flexible and resilient- you must be too.
Paul wrote: “ we often suffer, but we are never crushed. Even when we dont know what to do,We never give up. In times of trouble, god is with us and when we are knocked down, we get up again. “ (2 Cor. 4:8-9).
