IT TAKES A TEAM TO SUCCEED
1 Corinthians 12:11-12
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
Dear Saints,
Greetings in Jesus’ Name. I want to thank all of you so much for publicly displaying what a church family should be……and not only that, you did it in EXCELLENCE.
Someone said: “coming together is a beginning; keeping together is a progress; working together is success”. This success is achieved not only corporately, but also individually. Those who wipe other people’s tears will have theirs wiped as well.
ARE YOU PARTICIPATING IN ANY AREA AT ALL?
Please allow me to quote Pastor Eunice from her message the other day:
In a church setting:
Some take ownership………….They belong.
Some rent (to own some day). Partly belong
Some simply rent………”passersby”
Some are squatters……receivers only
I don’t need to elaborate on any of these……but where do you fit in?
We all come to church to get something: the fellowship, the worship experience, the nourishing word, and the friendship and build quality relationships. But as we grow up, we realize that we also come to church to give something: a welcoming hand, a word of encouragement, simple directions, or even a better seat. At every service we have the extraordinary opportunity to facilitate someone’s receiving a touch from God. Every job is important. Your job is important. Do it with passion. It makes a difference.
If you WANT to succeed in life, YOU MUST BELONG. Lone rangers don’t go far. Watch how you grow up spiritually when you team up with any of the opportunities in the church, from simply serving to being a member of a House of Joy cell group. ITS TIME TO GROW UP.
BELONG SOMEWHERE: WORSHIP TEAM, GREETERS, USHERS, HOUSES OF JOY (CELL GROUP) ETC.
IF YOU DO NOT BELONG, MAKE SURE YOU DO. BECOME A TEAM BUILDER.
