THE NEW YEAR
2016 THE YEAR OF HARVEST

John 4:35
Dear Saints,
This is the beginning of the new year. I like “the new”….because it implies a beginning, a starting of something, something that never existed before. As we approach 2016, We need to look at it as a new beginning, a start over, of life and life style.
Over the years l have heard many declarations and prophecies attached to every new year. Many of them are great and promising. But l haven’t heard many of consecration to God’s plans and purposes.
In this bulletin I want to reveal God’s ultimate desire for 2016. Which desire if you pursue, you will have a great reward. We have dubbed this as the year of harvest. One definition of harvest is: the gathering of crops. This is a very interesting concept because it shows us how God looks at the world (field), People (the crop). From our theme scripture we read;
John 4
35Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
Matthew 9
37Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
In these two scriptures, it is clear that “the harvest” is ready and is plentiful. These are established facts that we have to go by. We must open our eyes (spiritual) to see the harvest. The master said “the labourers” are few. I want to be one of them don’t you? Lift up your spiritual eyes to see how needy and desperate people are. We have no excuse whatsoever for not doing what God desires for each of us to do…….we must be about our Father’s business. Doing our Father’s command calls for total surrender and consecration to Him. Businesses, and all things that we do must be of eternal value.
Make a commitment before God to make a difference in people’s lives…..simply said, invest in people.
We wish you a supernaturally charged new year full of the favor of God and man. May you acquire lands, houses, properties, and inheritance you did not expect. May this be a year of the Supernatural for you, in Jesus’ Name. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
