 GOING FOR THE HARVEST

ONE A WEEK pt 5

James 1:22

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Matthew 7:21

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven

 Dear Saints,

Last week we explored some deeper truths regarding “going for the harvest”. We discovered this in our previous discussion is the “heart” of God. His “HEART” beats; souls, souls, souls. In Mark 16:15 He commanded us to go for the souls. It was a command, NOT a suggestion.

We thus MUST be doers of the word and not hearers only. In last week’s bulletin we saw that those who do not the word…. cannot enter into the Kingdom of heaven. Also, those who do not the word CANNOT be His sister or brother. Friends, you should not hear these things and take them lightly. These are incredibly severe consequences. This is not the kind of a thing you hear and ignore. Hear and DO something, or hear and DO nothing. The choice is yours, TO BE A DOER, OR JUST A HEARER.

There are more dangers of not being a doer. Jesus said in

Matthew 7

26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

These scriptures are as clear as can be. If you hear and DO NOT what you hear, you are likened to a FOOLISH MAN (I did not say it). You are building, but on sand.

The definition of a fool is: resulting from or showing a lack of sense; ill considered; unwise: a foolish action, also lacking in foresight. The end result is fall, destruction and wasted. All these can result from simply refusing to do what you hear. Wisdom is the application of knowledge, the opposite is also true, a fool does not apply what they know. A fool does not anticipate and therefore falls into terrible hurts and failures.

Imagine building a house and it all crumbles down. Imagine living a life of a lie, (deceiving own self; thinking you are serving and living for God) Then all that being destroyed. Being a doer is building on a rock (this is the wise man). If you are not a doer, what are you building on? Child of God, Soon or later your house is going to stand or fall…. be a wise man or woman of God…Be a DOER not just a hearer. Let’s say with Apostle Paul, Am a debtor, am ready, am not ashamed…We love you.

Let’s go for the harvest, ONE A WEEK.

REMEMBER, we want to hear what God is doing in your life, allow us to celebrate the goodness of our God with you.

Be a blessing, Invite, witness to someone. ONE A WEEK.
