THE KEY TO YOUR SUCCESS: YOUR DAILY ROUTINE

THE KEY  TO YOUR SUCCESS: YOUR DAILY ROUTINE

Matt 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. NKJV

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us the key to prosper without stress. Seeking God and His way of doing things sets you up for success. Notice Jesus used the word ‘first.” This talks of priorities like starting your day with God and His Word. It could mean putting God first in your finances. It means intentionally making the effort to prioritize God and His things every day throughout the year.

At the beginning of a new year, many people set new goals. There is no greater goal than putting God and His things first. It will move your life upward and forward more than anything else will.
Before he led the children of Israel to their inheritance, Joshua received this direction from the Lord: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Josh 1:8 God was showing Joshua how to make his own way prosperous and fulfill his mission. He could create his own good success by putting some things first on a consistent basis.

Someone said that the secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine. When activities are performed at the same time each day, they tend to become automatic. When your daily routine changes, your life changes. They say you can form a good habit by repeating it for 21 days.

It’s not one whole day of prayer that will change your circumstances; it is your daily fellowship with God and His Word. It is not working out for six hours that would help you lose weight and get in shape, it is a daily routine of walking for 20 minutes or of doing whatever workout you prefer. It is not meditating on the Word for a whole day that will make your life prosperous it is doing it God’s way, day and night or consistently each and every day. It is not saving a huge amount of money for one day that will accumulate your wealth, it is saving little by little on a consistent regular basis. When you change your routine to begin your day with prayer and meditation, that one successful habit will make a successful person out of you. Forbes magazine published an article titled: “5 things successful people do before 8:00 a.m.” They recognized a common trait of early rising in many CEO’s, people of influence and government officials.

They found that successful people do the same things daily before 8 a.m. Extraordinary leaders are developed in their daily routine. We all make time for what is most important to us. The question is, what is most important to you? What is your daily routine? It will highly determine where you will be at the end of this year.
