Dear saints of God,
Somebody wrote the song: “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.” However, because He lives, He’s alive in you and has made you a conqueror, indeed more than a conqueror in this life. (Rom. 8:37.) You don’t just face tomorrow; you create the future you want. Nothing can stop you because the enemy has been subdued and defeated.
Look at Eph. 120-22 “ …when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. 22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church…
After His resurrection, Jesus ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father; the seat of the highest authority in all existence. He occupies the most excellent and exalted throne there is. The good news is that we’re seated there with Him. See Eph. 2:4-6.
God gave Jesus authority over all creation. (Phil. 2:9-11, Eph. 1:22, Heb. 2:8) He commanded all of nature to be subject to Jesus. But Jesus delegated that authority to us. (Matt.28:18,19) Together with Him, we’re reigning over all things; over all principality and power, and might and dominion and every name that is named. In the realm of the spirit, you sit with Christ; you occupy His place of authority, with the power of attorney to use His name. All the powers of darkness respond to and recognize your authority in Christ. (Mark 16:17).
Therefore brethren, be bold to exercise this dominion today and always. You’re not ordinary. You operate from a higher realm where your words are backed by divine power. Ecclesiastes 8:4 says: “Where the word of a king is, there is power…” All authority has been vested on you to alter the circumstances of your life and establish the righteousness of God in the earth. Therefore when you speak, all of creation responds.
Someone said that when you speak in the name of Jesus, all creation rises to see who you’re talking to, with a readiness to obey. In Jesus’ Name, you can break the influence of Satan over men’s lives and declare the light of the gospel shines in their hearts.
2 Cor. 4:3-5 says: “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.” NKJV
Brethren, don’t put up with the enemy messing up with your family members. You have authority there. The best way to pray for your relatives is to take authority over the blinding spirits of antichrist and then ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers with the uncompromising gospel of our Lord’s resurrection to them. (Matt. 9:37-38) You can rule over your domain…not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers of darkness. You are more than a conqueror through Him who died and rose again for us. He is alive so you can triumph.
