APPLICATION OF THE WISDOM OF GOD
Dear brothers and sisters,
We’re continuing to dig into the wisdom of God. Did you know the wisdom of God is not found in shallow places? You have to dig deep to find it. In the natural, most valuable things such as oil, gold, silver and other precious metals are never found on shallow ground but deep in the ground. The wisdom of God is found hidden deep in His Word.
In last week’s bulletin, we began to study Sunesis or critical (analytical) wisdom. A good example of someone who operated in sunesis is Bezalel.
Look at Exodus 31:1-5 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 2 “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 3 And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, 4 to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, 5 in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship. NKJV
Bezalel was filled with the Spirit of God in critical wisdom and skill. If you told him to fix something, he just knew what to do; suddenly it dawned on him what to do. How did he get that? By believing God’s words; God spoke it and said: “I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom and understanding.”
The Spirit of God made this man bright! The SAME Spirit that lives in you taught Bezalel how to do his job skillfully. Guess what, He can do that for you in your specific assignment or career. Imagine if you were like that! Anything that needs to be done for the kingdom, you don’t lack ideas, concepts and insights. Sunesis gives you supernatural creativity. Ask Him for it. Believe Him to make you an expert in your field.
In Joshua 1:8 Amplified Version it says:
“This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.”
When you meditate on the word you are able to access the ability to “deal wisely” and have good success. The words deal wisely are defined by the Greek word Sunemei which is akin to Sunesis critical comprehension to make things happen.
When you meditate on the Word of God, the graph of your life goes forward and upwards.
As you meditate on God’s word reverently and prayerfully, the Spirit of wisdom hovers or broods over your mind ready to impart Sunesis into you. The Bible also says of Joshua son of Nun that he was full of the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. Joshua received this wisdom by impartation through his man of God and maintained it by meditating on the Word of God..
