GROW UP
Ephesians 4:15
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Dearly Beloved,
Last week we shared about how important it is to be a functioning part of the “whole” or the body. We saw that as the body prospers so are the members. I can push it further and say, as a country prospers so does her citizens. In a well to do economy, there are two classes of people. Those who work hard and contribute to the well-being of the country, and those who are lazy who sit and do nothing and claim “welfare”.
(A support system that funds “(the jobless, and the poor)”. This group of people never grow up. They only withdraw and not deposit. They depend on the government to meet their needs.
How does this relate to the church? Like in a wealthy country, there are two groups; those who work hard and do whatever needs to be done in the church, and those who do nothing and complain the most. They enjoy, and like everything in the house of God, but don’t want to be a part of it, as proven by their lack of interest to participate in anything, including giving. Thus they fail to “supply” as the scripture says; in Ephesians 4:16. IT IS TIME TO GROW UP.

Please notice the words, “may grow up INTO HIM in all things”. This will never happen to SPIRITUAL SPECTATORS. They will never grow up
INTO HIM In anything. Child of God, may this not happen to you.
As you grow up, you are growing into Him; being more and more like Him,
In thinking and doing all things like He did. You become “Him” in all things.
