Worship is a lifestyle.
Luke 19:40
And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
Dear Saints,
We hope you had a great week. We started a series last week on
Praise and worship. Our theme scripture,
Luke 19:40 stated, “…. If these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out”.
If those who believe in the Lord do not worship Him, God will do what is humanly impossible, causing stones to cry out. Well, it could happen. He made a donkey to talk, the stones can cry out.
Look at the statement “If these should hold their peace…..” These were the Jews to whom Jesus was sent, if they held their peace, then those (the gentiles) who were not of the covenant would cry out. God has caused you and l to cry out in worship to our God. What is worship anyway?
By definition, worship is, to regard with great devotion or to honor as a divine being.
Worship is a lifestyle and not something we do on Sunday morning only, to most people, and to the more hungry ones during the weekdays as well. Many people think that praise and worship is only singing songs at church, but it is so much more! It is also a condition of your heart — a willingness to exalt God and yield to his will. Worship is an expression of love and awe to the God who gives us more than we deserve. Whether you express your worship by singing, playing music, dancing or in some other way, remember that you are called to worship God with your every action, every day of your life. God is holy, loving, and worthy of all our worship and devotion. We will explore some more secrets of worship next week in your SPREADING THE LIGHT BULLETIN. I wish above all that you may prosper in all that do, to give glory to God.
REMEMBER TO, STAY CONNECTED.
IT’S IMPORTANT TO BELONG SOMEWHERE. WORSHIP TEAM, GREETERS, USHERS, Hospitality, HOUSE OF JOY (CELL GROUP) ETC.
IF YOU DO NOT BELONG, MAKE SURE YOU DO. YOU ARE SPECIAL AND LOVED.
